The Nærøyfjord sets itself apart from other breathtaking fjords with its nearness - in fact, "nær" means near in Norwegian; the narrowness of the fjord means that you can cruise on a ferry down the middle of it and feel quite near to the sky high stone walls on either side of your boat.
